For now, Claude isn't feasible for individual coder because enterprises with big pocket are willing to pay premium for the best. GPT on the other hand is a bargain.

@VBierschwale not the best like Claude Opus but it works fine for me with GPT 5.5 high max. I couldn't tell much difference.

Good deal is $20, you can get ChatGPT plus with codex included.

Claude isn't the best deal because most of their customers are enterprise, not retail.
