SCOTUS ruled pretty recently that ice agents can use things like skin color to target suspected undocumented immigrants. I don’t understand the reasoning and it seems completely unamerican to me

But this is for enforcement actions, not actual court of law. A trans person who theoretically gets detained unlawfully will still have a lot of rights. Citizens can sue pretty easily if this happens. So they won’t be rounding us up in that way.

But if I was a trans immigrant I’d avoid America for the next couple of years, because non citizens just don’t have nearly the same level of rights here
