Tamara had been fully ejected when the car hit the truck. She went through the air and hit the roof of the house. Because of where she hit on the roof she then went an additional 150 feet past the house into a field where she laid for over 3 hours. (1/3)
When responding to the scene of both bodies, troopers could smell alcohol coming from the bodies. Tamara was my mom. She had a BAC of .27. She had been driving drunk and not only took her life but took the life of her boyfriend. Think about this the next time you decide to (2/3)

They had been traveling over 100 mph down a paved rural road. The car had come up to a curve where the driver could not negotiate the curve. The driver lost control and the car left the roadway going immediately airborne, then went across a gravel parking area. (1/3)
Once in the parking area, the car hit the back end of a pickup truck doing considerable damage to the truck. It was at this point that the driver was ejected through the front windshield of the car. After hitting the truck, the car rotated sideways and rolled in the air (2/3)
The remainder of the officers responded back to the scene that was originally called a single fatality. They went out into the field in the same direction that the marks on the roof went. There they found the body of a deceased female 150 feet south of the house. (1/2)

When the chaplain and the sheriff arrived at Tamara’s house they were greeted by two young boys. One of those young boys was Tamara’s 10-year-old son Jack. Jack had advised the sheriff that his mom had left with Bill around 9pm and had not been answering the phone since. (1/2)
