Here's the 3-step framework I use:

1. Give AI a role

Instead of asking for a post, tell it who it is.

"You're an experienced copywriter. Write a persuasive post about turning a hobby into income."

2. Make it critique itself

Ask it to read the draft like your audience would.

"What would feel boring, generic, or unconvincing to someone reading this?"

3. Rewrite based on that feedback

Then have it fix the weak spots.

"Rewrite it with a stronger hook, more specifics, less fluff, and a memorable ending."

The difference is pretty obvious.

The text will sound much more natural, but it still won't be perfect. For that, you need to train the model on real writing samples - yours or someone else's if you like their style.

AI TEXTS ARE EASY TO SPOT.

You can tell almost instantly. Long dashes. Generic phrases like "let's break it down" or "this is important." Every sentence has the same length and polished rhythm. You read it and immediately know it wasn't written by a human. 😐

Here's a simple fix - one prompt for the final pass.

I use Claude because, out of all the models, it's the best at keeping a natural voice. It doesn't flatten every sentence into the same rhythm or over-polish the writing. ChatGPT writes correctly, but you can usually hear the machine behind it. Claude just feels different.

Rewrite this text so it sounds like it was written by a real person, not an AI. Keep the meaning, structure, and every key idea exactly the same. Don't add or remove anything substantial.

What to change:

1 Replace long dashes with hyphens (-) or rewrite the sentence to avoid them.
2 Remove generic transitions like "Let's break it down," "Here's the thing," or "Now pay attention." Replace them with natural transitions or remove them entirely.
3 Rewrite "not just... but..." constructions into more direct phrasing.
4 Make the writing a little less polished. Add words like "well," "honestly," "by the way," or "who knows" only where they sound natural.
5 If every sentence is short, combine some into longer ones. If everything is too long and formal, break a few up.
6 Don't add exclamation marks where there weren't any. Don't make the tone more motivational - just make it sound more human.
7 Leave small imperfections. It doesn't need to sound perfectly edited.
