Why active listening should be practiced for better teamwork :
1. Earn the trust and respect from your peers.
2. Understand issues and formulate better solutions.
3. Active listening can help you diffuse conflict.
My effort would be always listening to my partner’s opinion, no assuming, no judging. They trust me with their thoughts, so i have to appreciate it by giving a proper respond. And once again, really listen to it.

Listening to our customer’s problem is one part of my daily job. Is it boring? No, it is actually very interesting. The only key you need is be patient. Patiently listen and try to put myself on their shoes.
Giving full attention to the interlocutors and making sure that we are 'seen' to be listening. Providing positive feedback will encourage them (the speaker) to continue the conversation, feel more at ease and therefore communicate more easily, openly and honestly.
Working in team have taught me to understand more about other colleagues. To be a good listener, let the speaker freely expressed their thoughts and avoid judging at the first place because sometimes they only want to be heard and feel understood.
