Eight teens from Philly roll into Florida for a 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭… and instead of, you know, playing football, they decide to turn Dick’s Sporting Goods into their own personal smash-and-grab practice field.
These geniuses were caught on camera stuffing THOUSANDS of dollars of merch into bags 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘦 like nobody would notice. Two of them just walked right out with it. Because apparently they thought Florida was Philadelphia and the laws don’t apply.
Deputies shut that down fast. The store manager called while the theft was happening, the cops rolled in, and the kids—ALL 14 or 15—got hauled straight to juvenile lockup. Their championship game? Gone. Their team? Lost miserably without them. Actions, meet consequences.
And then comes the best part.
The coach—yes, the COACH—shows up and BEGS deputies not to arrest them. Then he turns around and begs the store manager to “drop the charges.”
This wasn’t grabbing a pack of gum. They stole 𝟒𝟕 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, worth 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 $𝟐,𝟎𝟎, in what deputies literally called a “systematic, organized theft ring masquerading as a football team.”
Florida did what Philly wouldn’t: they enforced the law.
Teach kids accountability early, or they grow up believing consequences are optional. And we’ve already got enough of that problem in this country.
@signalapp This seems reasonable. Stanely makes a hammer; you can build a house with it or smack your thumb. In either case, it's not the hammer's fault. Someone invited the journalist to join the chat group. That is not Signal's fault.
Illegal migrants over citizens, teachers unions over parents and children, criminals over victims, men-turned-women over girls. Democrats. You might want to fire your pollsters.

@elonmusk I support the DOGE concept and agree that DOGE should have access to all accounts payable information, but there is no reason that the DOGE team needs access to US Citizens' PII.
