“One day, after we have mastered the winds and the waves, gravity and the tides, we will harness for God the energies of love. And then, for the second time in human history, mankind will have discovered fire.” -Teilhard de Chardin
As a human being I’m aware that we are all physically, mentally and emotionally the same and we all want to live a happy life. Scientists say our basic nature is compassionate. It’s clear that love and affection bring people together.
Irrespective of whether we have faith in religion or not, it’s good to be more compassionate. It makes us happier as individuals with a positive influence on our families and the neighborhood where we live.
“We are not cabin dwellers, born to a life cramped and confined; we are meant to explore, to seek, to push the limits of our potential as human beings”
Many of the problems we face today are our own creation. Creating a more peaceful world requires a peaceful mind and a peaceful heart. As human brothers and sisters we must live together in tolerance and affection.
Spend five minutes every day sitting with your eyes closed and sending love from your heart to everyone in your country, then letting that love extend to every sentient being in the world. THAT is the power that will save us. It will change us, and then we will change the world.
A cell that forgets its collaborative function & goes off to do it’s own thing instead is malignant, whether in body or in consciousness. The human race has been infected by a malignant consciousness: The thought that “it’s all about me.” Healing that thought will heal the world.
