@lg_ladakh@ashishkundra If integrated list like DASS is not considered then, some official will retire on same post as some department have no post for promotion while some post will not be filled as no feeding employees are there. Kindly consider combined list @ashishkundra sir.
@lg_ladakh Heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble LG Sir. We are deeply grateful to @ashishkundra Sir for actively taking up this long-pending issue. What we had been requesting for the last 6 years was made possible by the present Hon’ble LG and the Chief Secretary in just 3–4 months. Truly grateful.
Glad to share that the Ministry of Home Affairs has accepted our recommendations for “ad-hoc promotions” for eligible officers under the Group 'B' Gazetted Administrative Service in Ladakh, as an interim measure.
While the MHA is in the process of devising a regular promotion mechanism, this decision will significantly help address the officers’ shortage in Ladakh.
My sincere thanks to Hon’ble Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji for his constant support to strengthen the administrative framework in Ladakh that is significantly improving governance and public service delivery in the UT.
I have directed the Chief Secretary to start the promotion process immediately. The UT Administration remains committed to empowering its employees and optimizing administrative efficiency in Ladakh.
And ensuring quality education reaches even the remotest villagesher leadership has set a new benchmark for public education.Ladakh is proving that with vision, commitment, and execution, government schools can truly excel. Kudos to Bhanu Prabha and the entire Edu Dept. @dse_ladakh
In just a few years, Ladakh’s government schools have witnessed a remarkable transformation under Secretary Education Bhanu Prabha, IAS. From developing Model Schools and strengthening foundational learning to promoting STEM, digital education, winter coaching, teacher empowermen
The dichotomy is glaring. After UT formation,Ladakhis were denied the opportunity to apply for JKAS. Yet post-2019, JK-based selected officers continue to be posted in Ladakh. 6.5 years later, still no dedicated state service exams for Ladakh.the parity?the justice? @ashishkundra

Completely ignored the Seniority list of Combined Services where two officials at Sr. 6 and 7 much below of many are given BDO Charge. We were expecting some standardized rule for adjusting. This is biased, unfair by Adm and GAD Ladakh. @ashishkundra

The 5km Run for Fun in Ladakh Marathon is a community celebration, not just a race. Charging ₹1500 (₹500 for students) excludes many locals. Kindly reconsider and keep it free for Ladakh residents. #LadakhMarathon@ashishkundra sir.
Returning to SNM Hospital Leh after three years, the upgrade is impressive. With modern adjustable beds, RO-filtered water, multi-speciality doctors, and free scans, it now feels on par with a metropolitan hospital. Kudos to Adm Ladakh.

The nation owes an apology to @Wangchuk66.- and to all the Ladakhis.
We were mocked, dismissed and called all kinds of names by the usual suspects.
But today’s development marks a historic victory for the people of Ladakh!!!
Jai Hind!
