As part of Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective grassroots mobilization and oversight of the Local Council (LC1) electoral process, ONC Greater Mukono Coordinator JB Wamala is actively monitoring nominations across the region.
During a field visit to Nakisunga Sub-county, which comprises 61 villages, Wamala confirmed steady progress as NRM flag bearers continue to successfully complete the nomination process in line with established guidelines.
The monitoring exercise is aimed at ensuring compliance with directives from the Manager of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, while strengthening grassroots structures ahead of the LC1, LC2, and Women’s Council elections.
