REC’s subsidiary RECPDCL has handed over the Luhri Power Transmission Ltd SPV to Terralight Solar Energy Tinwari Pvt Ltd.

The ₹839.55 crore interstate transmission project will evacuate power from Sunni Dam HEP and Luhri Stage-I HEP in Himachal Pradesh.

Key works include a 400/220 kV GIS Nange Pooling Station and a 50 km 400 kV double circuit line connecting Nange to Koldam.

Ceigall India JVs won 5 road projects worth ₹2,423.70 crore for NH-913 (Arunachal Frontier Highway).

Jayakwadi Phase II:- Maharashtra Cabinet approved ₹6,477.88 crore for the project, including Majalgaon Dam and a 148 km right canal.

It aims to provide irrigation to 1.31 lakh hectares across 5 Marathwada districts, along with several reservoirs and water-lifting schemes.

Borivali-Virar Rail Expansion in Maharashtra

30% work completed on the ₹2,184 crore Borivali-Virar 5th & 6th railway lines project.
The project covers 26 km and is targeted for completion by 2029.

Additional tracks will increase capacity and better separate suburban and long-distance trains. Major works include 3 major bridges, 3 minor bridges, 1 ROB, earthwork and relocation of railway structures.

Land acquisition and clearances are progressing, with work underway at Dahisar, Mira Road, Bhayander, Naigaon, Nallasopara and Vasai Road.

₹9,450 crore investment approved for 4 multitracking projects across West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Around 410 km of new rail lines will be added, targeted for completion by 2031-32.

Projects include 4th lines on Kharagpur-Bhadrak and Bhadrak-Haridaspur, and 3rd/4th lines on Gummidipundi-Gudur and Cuttack-Paradeep.
