Earlier this month, while in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia—two countries with deeply troubling human rights records, including one that continues to detain a human rights activist whose family lives in Canada—Prime Minister Carney said Canadian foreign policy would no longer pursue the ineffective strategy of "lecturing countries from afar."

Is there a double standard in which this new approach does not apply when it comes to Israel?

A wave of Palestinian terror against Israelis in Judea and Samaria. A Palestinian terrorist shot Israelis at point-blank range, murdering two and seriously wounding two others. Yet Canada’s response is to condemn Israel.

The “settler violence” libel is being used to demonise all 750,000 Jewish residents living in the disputed areas of Judea, Samaria and eastern Jerusalem. This is being done to erase the Jews’ historic legal claim to these territories, push them out and replace them by Arab colonisers to create “facts on the ground” that make a Palestine state appear inescapable.

The “settler violence” libel is now a strategic threat to the world’s only Jewish state.

We are asking why was an Al Jazeera @AJEnglish cameraman, Ahmed Shah, firing multiple rounds in Gaza last month? It’s a fair question, isn’t it?

Shah was a sniper in one of the elite military wings of Hamas. He was ALSO a “journalist” for the Qatari News Channel.

An Israeli airstrike eliminated the terrorist, but his death is added ONLY to the list of dead “journalists” in Gaza.

You see how corrupt and dishonest the entire system is.

Shah “operated” with his brother Muhammad in the Hamas rocket production unit.

His brother Muhammad was killed last April.

They are NOT babies or children. They are NOT civilians. They are NOT journalists.

They WERE praised by Hamas as “martyrs.”
