This is a victory for people in and around #Ingatestone who have campaigned to have their voices heard. An offshore alternative to the #pylons will now have to be considered. This is a major step forward but there is still a long way to go.
*Very* pleased to welcome an independent review by @NationalGridESO into the East Anglian electricity transmission which would put #pylons through #ingatestone
*Crucially* the review will include full consideration of offshore routes - thanks to everyone who made this happen

Below freezing temperatures across Essex overnight mean there maybe icy patches on minor or untreated roads. Please ensure that ALL your vehicle windows are fully cleared of ice before setting out.
