Thousands of Palestinians are leaving northern Gaza and moving south. The Israelis claim that they push Gazans down to separate them from the 4,000 or so "bad guys" - Hamas, which the Israelis want to destroy. But this is nonsense. The "bad guys" will probably dump their Kalashnikovs and leave together with the good guys, and the Israelis will achieve what they really want - an empty northern Gaza, where they could build settlements.
