In Emeishan City, Sichuan, China, I met these lovely aunties dancing a traditional Xinjiang-style dance in the park. They were dancing to Uyghur music and invited me to join in… and soon a crowd started gathering around us.

Today Mason and I are going to the famous Yingxian Wooden Pagoda and the Hanging Temple. Getting there we had to drive a bit and got to see up close why Datong was once called the Coal capital of China.
