3/4 As ever she analysed the meaning of the word outsider for its semantics and its vocal performance potential. Stranger uses layers of sung vocals, field recordings and loops to explore the rift in our roots caused by emigration and the severing of free movement...

2/3 'Stranger' is a response to the track 'Outsider' by Lily Greenham. Greenham considered herself a citizen of the world as this pic shows, however she also considered herself an outsider, describing herself as an emancipated woman and someone who could live anywhere.
