More bad news for UK universities with another sharp fall in visa applications to study in September. Latest drop means 83,000 fewer international students applied to come to UK universities in summer recruitment window in 2026 compared to 2023 https://t.co/iHlgOMIIyl
'I'm in chains, you're in chains too / I wear uniforms and you wear uniforms too / I'm a prisoner, you're a prisoner too, Mr. Jailer.'
Inspired by the power, emotion, and determination of the UNISON migrant care workers at the rally yesterday in Liverpool.
Today, Labour conference is talking about a National Care Service.
Any plan to fix care must put the workforce at its heart 🩵
Here is the real story. #Lab26#FairVisasNow"
It's interesting how the news emphasis is on vulnerable Afghan and Palestinian women and girls; no mention of the fact that this resettlement route will include husbands and sons. Why is there no refugee route for vulnerable Christians fleeing the horrors of Sudan and Nigeria?
These Afghans and Palestinians would have ILR and recourse to public funds from day 1 but skilled workers who moved here as students are being told that they may need to wait 5+ more years for ILR.
It’s so unfair.
Passport Intervention Centre in Manchester: Nigerians Deserve Better Service.
It is now 11:30 a.m., and people who arrived as early as 9:00 a.m. are still waiting, with nothing happening. This is not the way to treat Nigerians who have taken time off work, travelled long distances, and paid for passport services.
Please, we cannot continue doing things this way. We need proper planning, better organisation, clear communication, and an efficient system that respects people’s time and dignity.
We must move away from the same old ways of doing things and organise these interventions properly. Nigerians in the UK deserve better.

Nigeria Immigration Service booked a Lebanese owned Layali Lounge in London as a center for their emergency passport intervention scheme. They charged people who would be coming for passport renewal between £70 — £150 depending on the service they wanted.
But guess what?
No payment was made to the owners/management of the lounge. No security was provided at the venue. It was just vibes and insha Allah. Nigeria and anyhowness are 5&6.
Here was the moment that thr person managing the lounge allegedly sent people away from the lounge and shut his door. This was very shameful. Nigeria government, when will you stop embarrassing us outside?

One thing that shocked me about NHS workers in the UK
Staff have to pay to park at work.
In one year alone, NHS trusts took about £70.5 million from their own workers just for parking😳
You clock in to care for patients and part of your salary goes straight back to the hospital for a parking space.
Apparently Scotland and Wales don’t do this if I’m right
The Ebi ń pawás brigade would rather stop road construction and demand instant food palliatives. Destructive Mentality!
Nation-building is not a magic show. Is a no pain - no gain affairs.
Check Frankie Ikemefuna on FB. This guy is serving wisdom. 👇🏾
This Parliamentary system of government might just be the problem with UK politics.
Once your party members don’t like you or stop liking as a PM, just forget it, the betrayal starts from there.
Like I tweeted earlier, the difference is the system of government.
If the UK 🇬🇧 uses the democratic system, Keir Starmer and others wouldn’t have resigned.
