I strongly condemn the TN Government led by @actorvijay for arresting rap singer and my dear brother ‘Therukkural’ Arivu for speaking out against NEET.

His voice reflects the sentiments and demands of not just Tamil Nadu, but millions of people across India.

At a time when the CJP-led rallies and protests against #NEET are gaining momentum across the country, the TVK government has chosen to arrest Arivu.

This sends a troubling message to the youth of Tamil Nadu who are considering taking to the streets in solidarity with the protesting youth in Delhi to oppose NEET.

NEET is not just riddled with discrepancies; it has become a scam.

The voices raised against NEET deserve to be heard, not silenced.

கைதானபோது நல்ல ஆரோக்கியத்துடன் இருந்த சபரிவர்மன், விசாரணை முடிந்து சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்ட போது, உடல்நலக்குறைவால் இறந்துவிட்டார் என்று காவல்துறை தரப்பில் சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

ஆனால், மரணமடைந்த சபரிவர்மனின் உடல் முழுவதும் காயங்கள் இருந்ததாகவும், அவரை மாற்றுத்திறனாளி என்றும் பாராமல் காவல்துறையினர் அடித்தே கொலை செய்துள்ளதாகவும் சபரிவர்மனின் குடும்பத்தார் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.

காவல்துறையை தனது கட்டுப்பாட்டில் வைத்திருக்கும் முதலமைச்சர் இதற்கு உரிய பதில் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

சபரிவர்மனின் கடையில் குட்கா பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டதாக, அவரை கைது செய்த காவல்துறையினர், ஈரோட்டில் குட்கா விற்றதாக கைது செய்யப்பட்ட த.வெ.க. நிர்வாகி அருணை அன்றே சொந்த ஜாமினில் விடுவித்துள்ளனர்.

சபரிவர்மன் எனும் சாமானியருக்கு ஒரு சட்டம், த.வெ.க நிர்வாகி என்றால் வேறொரு சட்டம் என்னும் காவல்துறையின் போக்குக் கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது.

இந்தச்சம்பவத்தில் தொடர்புடைய காவலர்கள் மீது தக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுப்பதோடு, சபரிவர்மனின் மரணத்திற்குக் காரணமானவர்களுக்கு உரிய தண்டனையைப் பெற்றுத்தர வேண்டும்.

சபரிவர்மனின் மரணத்துக்கு நீதி கிடைப்பதை இந்த அரசு உறுதி செய்ய வேண்டும்.

It's truly sad that many of the biggest names from the Tamil film fraternity were not present to pay their last respects to the legendary S. Janaki Amma. Mysuru is only a few hours away from Chennai.

It was also disappointing that there was no visible representation from the Tamilnadu government at the funeral, at least as a mark of respect for one of the greatest voices Tamil cinema has ever known.

Hats off to the #Karnataka government for according her a great farewell with full respect and honour.

A legend of her stature deserved nothing less.

இதற்கெல்லாம் முதலமைச்சர் பதில் ஏதும் சொல்லாத நிலையில், தற்போது ஜூலை மாதம் தர வேண்டிய 32 TMC தண்ணீரையும் கர்நாடகம் தர மறுக்கிறது.

ஆளுங்கட்சியுடன் திடீர் கூட்டணி அமைத்திருக்கும் கட்சியின் ஆட்சி நடைபெறும் கர்நாடகத்திடம் இருந்து, தமிழ்நாட்டுக்குச் சேர வேண்டிய தண்ணீரை முதலமைச்சர் கேட்டுப்பெற வேண்டும்.

எம்.எல்.ஏ.க்களை வாங்குவதில் மட்டும் கவனம் செலுத்தாமல், கர்நாடகாவிடம் இருந்து நமக்கு வர வேண்டிய தண்ணீரை வாங்குவதில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

Why so many high profile exits from Guidance Tamil Nadu?

Guidance Tamil Nadu is the top notch nodal agency for investments in our country.

It has contributed significantly to bringing investments to our state.

We were the first state to place a permanent representative from Guidance in Taiwan. Now, we have permanent representatives in other countries like Japan as well.

Guidance continuously scouts for opportunities across the globe and has industry experts in its team.

A very strong negative signal has been sent to investors with the scrapping of the Parandur project.

Despite requests from all major industry bodies, the project has still been scrapped.

Tamil Nadu needs investors, and they have already been waiting for a long time for Chennai to have an airport of international standards, along with extensive connectivity and top-notch air cargo facilities, among other infrastructure.

All international investors interact first with Guidance, and this agency ensures continuity by regularly maintaining relationships.

So many high-profile exits are happening at a time when the Industries Ministry is already struggling to function effectively.

I hope the government understands how critical these issues are.

I know a lot of us are blaming @mkstalin. Maybe a part of it is just and fair for being too soft on Chief tharkuri. But I can't help feel sorry for Stalin sir and DMK.

Man did what a good ruler is supposed to do. Inspite of all the faults, he really tried. He developed the economy. He introduced schemes to uplift the underprivileged. He did decent politics. He even helped chief tharkuri to form govt even after all the mud slinging.

And per Thirukural and scriptures shouldn't he have won a 2nd term? Shouldn't he have been praised by the ppl? That's what we thght right? That's what the philosophers of the world told right? That good is rewarded with good?

Then why was he rewarded with absolute betrayal? By his allies... The words by Durai psycho, IUML, Congress, CPI, VCK... they may hate Stalin sir but why such words for DMK cadres who made them win, who stood by them?

The biggest betrayal was from the people, especially by ppl of Kolathur. Ladies got urimai thogai, went in Vidiyal Payanam and voted against him. Students benefitting from Naan Mudhalvan, Pudhumai Pen, Naan Pudhalvan went and voted against him. Elders using Thaymanuvar thittam, makkalai thedi maruthuvam voted against him. Betrayal is an understatement for what was done by TN to him and DMK.

If someone like Gandhi ji or JJ or Kalaignar or Anna had been DMK's opponent and DMK lost, it was understandable. But ppl chosing a narcissistic psycho over Stalin sir and his team? A coward who ran away after sacrificing 42 people, an abuser who was legally accused of psychological abuse and abandonment by his family, a cheater who literally paraded around his affair side chick days before election? How can any sane person come to terms to this?

Now all the words from Aadhav ass manipulating ppl and blaming that DMK and Stalin sir did the Karur murders? Not even one alliance partner could open their mouth and condemn him? I haven't even seen Stalin sir but my heart breaks for him. How could they stay silent? How could the ppl accept this?

I can't imagine the pain and heartbreak Stalin sir and the rest of his team must be feeling now hearing all this. This is rock bottom. The only way now is up. Hopefully all of our moral thinking is not wrong and goodness prevails.

This is really heart breaking to see. The no of instances people taking out their own lives due to loss in stock market has been extremely high in recent years.

This is something not new, but earlier it only use to happen during periods like 1992 Harshad Mehta bubble, 2000 dot com bubble, 2008 global financial crisis period where after long lasting bull market when market corrects people lose money on their leveraged positions.

But now, lot many newbies are directly jumping into Options. Before Covid; there were not much influencers who talked about Trading, but Covid batch has brought in many influencers who aren’t real traders, some of them made it look easier.

Trading is not as easy as it looks, the kind of time and money you lose here is insane, it will psychologically drain you, it will affect your family life for sure, one has to balance it for a long period.

I'm sorry but this kind of normalisation of criminal behaviour shows the decadence in journalism. Press has to hold politicians to the highest standards. Not teach them to hoodwink voters.
