It really is time that more people backed the severely mesh injured by requesting a full recall and judicial review and apologise to thousands of women that have had their claims dropped @DHSCgovuk
“Before the government will be in a position to make decisions on how to quantify patients’ losses and compensate them for the harm caused, the Report indicates it will first need to establish the size of the harmed population and the severity of injury in question, so as to cost out the financial implications.
In the year that has passed since The Hughes Report was published, patients seem to be no closer now to understanding the scope of the proposed redress schemes or the mechanisms that would be used to compensate them under those schemes for the harm and losses suffered.”

@MeshCampaign There is no #patientsafety it’s all a farce. Patients sent from clinic to clinic wasting time, money, as surgeons cover up the failure. #mesh device was a failure from day1, but there is no record of this on my notes. 500+appointments waste time #meshinjured#nhsfunding &money
@MeshCampaign 👆Simply don’t care…encourage the MESH INJURED men 2 stand up & fight too, like #kathsamson is, 2gether 👀more progress. Come on guys…fight💪there’s no shame in trusting surgeons, it’s the surgeons that should be shamed…@EUplatinum@UrologyTimes PLASTIC MESH is TOXIC☢️⚠️☣️⛔️
Insufficient testing and disregard for women’s welfare
Allegations have been made against manufactures of this product, claiming that weak and insufficient research and testing was carried out and the risks and complications were not fully explained to surgeons.
A review published in the British Medical Journal in December 2017, revealed that 61 manufacturers sold mesh without clinical trials, with safety and effectiveness evidence shown to be weak6.
Also in December 2017, a BBC Panorama investigation revealed that Ethicon had failed to properly warn UK doctors of the risks associated with transvaginal mesh and had inadequately tested its kits before selling them. The investigation claimed that Ethicon’s TVT-Secur implant (taken off the market in 2012), was available for use after being tested on only 31 women for five weeks, and in sheep

@Megsenmumdr The medical profession are just arrogant 🤦♀️ I don’t trust their integrity at all…it’s all about lining their pockets, pharmaceutical income is their desire, not patient safety. Money…money…money👈
@ElonMuskOde I pondered my reply to you above👆Smiling eyes on a WHITE #Tesla with discrete silver features will look stunning. The functionality of a #solar roof on a white #tesla will be awesome…and a bit more feminine 🦢
@ElonMuskOde Can you design a Tesla with nicer eyes please? If so, then ‘Yes, I would really like an electric car.’
Can you please design a 4 X 4 Teslados…I would gladly test drive it for you, needs power, & good fuel injection for the mountains. Solar roof because I live in the sunshine😎
Proud to have joined forces with #Essure campaigners to #raisethelimit from 10 to 20yrs for a compensation claim against makers of faulty medical devices. Jan, lead UK Essure campaigner, met with Baroness Sugg who asked this question in the House of Lords https://t.co/9LtVqSOLEC
@MeshCampaign We are proud of you #Mesh#essure for all that you are doing to get the @UKHouseofLords to STOP:LOOK:LISTEN to the data. When will you👀 the irreversible harm done by implanting #plastic into the human body. Lives are ruined😢
Patient safety bodies to be overhauled, @wesstreeting announces. Certainly worth doing, but if the issue is how orgs keep patients safe we need a review of NHSE policy and professional regulators like NMC and GMC. #PatientSafety

🚨 NEW STUDY found microplastics in the endometrial tissue of women with multiple miscarriages.
Researchers detected microplastic in all 22 uterus samples tested, consisting of 6 different plastic polymers in colors like blue, green, and black. ⚠️⚠️
@InjuredSe@BAUSurology I am so sorry you are suffering. My mesh has been gone for 4 months today!! It’s been 19 years this month that I have been suffering most of that time in silence. The doctors who put it in done care, they don’t even think about us.
Stay strong!
@AnnBoni1@InjuredSe I am sure #NHS Resolution will err on the side of Trusts & clinicians rather than victims after all the organisation is there to assist the #NHS not the public! #NHS Resolution is not independent!
I was conned…CONNED….by a shameful slimy consultant who retired from NHS and now works for at a private hospital in Kent. I wouldn’t trust a gynaecologist again. Or the arrogant Urologist who feels he has to watch the back of the gynaecologist instead of his patients.😥#mesh 🚮
