IIR is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting human rights, social justice, and equal access to justice for Nigerians and ethnic minority communities.
Do some officials in Benue State, Nigeria truly care about displaced people (IDP's), or has displacement become a business?
When lives are lost and IDPs remain neglected, we must ask:
Whose interests are being served?

@dammiedammie35 Nigerians shouldn't be the easiest people in the world to please. They don’t know their rights in Nigeria so they settle easily, that shouldn't be the case. Electricity is a basic necessity that every Nigerian should be able to enjoy. Homes, businesses & economy, it's essential.
Grieving mother recounts the horrific attack on her family in Plateau State, describing how armed assailants invaded their home and brutally murdered her loved ones. Painting a painful picture of the devastating violence that continues to shatter families and communities #Nigeria
For thousands of young people across Nigeria, JAMB exams determine access to higher education and future opportunities. Every disruption delays dreams and deepens the frustration of students who want a fair chance to write their exams. #nigeria #government #jamb #students
A disturbing video shows Boko Haram issuing a 72-hour ultimatum, threatening to k*ll 416 hostages in Borno State, mostly women and children. This urgent crisis demands swift government action to prevent tragedy and protect lives. #Nigeria#bokoharam
Reverend Dachomo breaks down in tears over killings and suffering in Nigeria. His trembling voice shows deep grief and fear. Beside him, Alex Barbir is thanked for speaking out and raising global awareness. A cry for the world to see the injustice. #Nigeria#christian#dachomo
A minister says he’ll never be broke again, while citizens can’t afford bread or electricity. This is the reality many Nigerians are living with, leaders celebrating wealth as the people sit in darkness. Accountability isn’t optional; it’s overdue #nigeria#Adelabu#government
A reckless okada rider crashes into a bus with passengers on board. Another reminder of dangerous roads and weak safety enforcement in Nigeria. Road safety must be enforced to avoid endangering lives.

In Nigeria tensions rose as Obi, Kwankwaso, Tambuwal, Mark & Aregbesola protested at INEC, demanding fair 2027 elections & echoing fears of a one-party state.
Ironically some of these leaders are former APC members. Are Tinubu’s days numbered?

@SaharaReporters This smells of an indirect negotiation with government thru BOSYA. Funding, aiding & abetting terrorists & supporters must stop. Decisive action is needed, intel, surveillance, thermal imagery, snipers to take these terrorists out & bring the women & children home.
@SaharaReporters When we don't ask questions to select our leaders wisely, we keep ending up in the same situation with incompetent leaders ruling us, and Nigeria will never change.
@SaharaReporters Nigerians need to ask questions, it's not enuff to run bcos he is Buhari's son. 1. What qualifies him to run. 2. What is his track record. 3. Where is evidence of his mobilisation groups. 4. What are his political capabilities (not fathers). 5. Plans for managing Nigeria's money?
@SaharaReporters Tinubu's leadership is needed to handle this crisis but where experience is lacking this level of crisis management becomes a problem. The US is ploughing money into Iran and other nations so Nigeria isn't a priority. Nigerians need to rise up to take what belongs to them.
@dammiedammie35 Highly illegal. Nigerians, ask for : 1. ID, name, rank. 2. Ask for reasons for the stop/search, there must be lawful justification i.e suspicion of a crime. 3. They must search u in a resonable non-intimidating manner. 4. If no arrest is made, taking you to a corner is illegal.

@AmnestyNigeria Tinubu's government is out of it's depth. We have politicians leading Nigeria not leaders. The government has failed in many areas and that failure is most visible in how they handle crisis management.
@SaharaReporters This will lead many to an early grave with sicknesses and disease. It's unacceptable that there are no community Wells or taps for clean drinking water. Grassroots communities need empowerment initiatives that help them know their basic rights so they demand accountability..
PT, leadership demands compassion, not rushed conversations with grieving families.
Promises that “this won’t happen again” is talk without a clear plan. Nigerians deserve action, not words.
Nigerians will there be change or empty promises?
