I think there are more reasonable people involved in this than seems, but nobody is willing to cede ground.

Cenk et al are wrong on paper, right in practice, but are condescending about it. So when they extend the olive branch to the right, the optics are horrible.

To be fair, I can't only blame anti-vax #COVIDIOTS. Biden's admin working with big pharma in refusing to free up vaccine patents isn't just as bad, it's worse.

Ignorance isn't an excuse for them; they know the human cost and actively choose to let people die because $$$.
