Syrian Christians are still being murdered in cold blood, kidnapped, raped, and arrested without charges under the Al-Jolani ISIS/Al-Qaeda Government running Syria. Recently, Nader Boulos Tannous, a Syrian Christian man who had returned to living in Syria from Sweden was murdered in cold blood by terrorists in Homs.

And this Syrian Christian man, Suleiman Khalil, the former mayor of the Christian town of Sadad, Syria, has been arrested by the Syrian Government without charges for 18 months. The former mayor is known for helping defend Sadad from ISIS terrorists when they threatened the town in 2015. The Al-Qaeda/ISIS government in Syria is refusing to allow him access to a lawyer and has denied his requests for a Bible. There are also reports that this Syrian Christian man is being tortured in a Syrian prison. Please say a prayer for him!

Removing Syria from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list is a horrific mistake @realDonaldTrump @WhiteHouse @SecRubio.

Built in 1321, Martin Luther stayed here in 1518 during his meeting with the papal legate, Cardinal Cajetan, who wanted Luther to submit to the pope. When Luther refused to recant, he fled Augsburg by night from St. Anne's Church.

✝️🇦🇲 The Splendor of #Christianity in #Armenia.

Being the world’s first Christian country ✝️, Armenia ��🇲 is overflowing with historically beautiful #Armenian monasteries and churches.

Armenia is home to a sacred architectural tradition unlike anything else on Earth.

Thousand-year-old prayers in stone — tall pointed and pleated conical domes that echo Mount Ararat, soaring vertical forms, and walls of volcanic tuff that seem almost seamless.

Armenian church architecture developed its unique national style by the late 6th to early 7th century — possibly the first national style in Christian architecture, long before Byzantine, Romanesque, or Gothic forms fully crystallized.

The main characteristics are instantly recognizable:

Tall, pointed conical or semi-conical domes that echo the peak of Mount Ararat.

Strong vertical emphasis — the height often exceeds the length of the building.

Entirely stone construction (usually soft pink, apricot, red, or grey tuff, and hard basalt).

Cross-in-square plans, soaring drums, and elegant gavits (narthex halls).

Walls alive with intricate carvings of interlace, vines, pomegranates, and biblical scenes.

The walls were built with a concrete-like core of crushed tuff and lime mortar that continues unbroken into the vaults, drums, and domes, giving the structures extraordinary strength. Builders even ground matching-coloured tuff into powder and rubbed it into the joints, so the stonework appears almost seamless.

The dome itself is the purest signature of this architecture: a high polygonal drum crowned by a sharp conical roof covered in thin stone shingles. Some of the most refined examples take the dramatic “umbrella” (pleated) form, occasionally rising from a rare sixteen-sided drum.

Among the greatest masterpieces:

Etchmiadzin Cathedral (founded 301–303 AD) — the world’s oldest cathedral still in use, whose central-domed cross plan became a model far beyond Armenia.

Geghard Monastery (13th century) — partly carved directly into the living rock of the Azat Gorge, once home to the Holy Lance, with extraordinary acoustics and rock-cut chapels.

Noravank Monastery — set dramatically against red cliffs, with master Momik’s exquisite sculptural work and the famous double cantilevered staircase of Surb Astvatsatsin.

Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries (10th–13th centuries) — twin UNESCO World Heritage monasteries that were great centers of learning, philosophy, and manuscript illumination.

Tatev Monastery — perched on the edge of a vast gorge, a medieval university of faith, science, and art.

From the elegant cone of St. Hripsime Church to the soaring crowns of Haghpat, Noravank, and Tatev, no two are exactly alike.

Every church and monastery is unique.

During the #Armenian Genocide, #Yazidi leader Hemoye Shero saved over 20,000 Armenian and #Assyrian #Christians by hiding and protecting them.
