How West is fuelling the Conflict by sponsoring #Pak ?

In IMF, the voting rights of each member country depends upon their economic size.

The votes of each member equal the sum of its basic votes (equally distributed) and quota-based votes, so a member’s quota determines its voting power. Members get one vote per SDR 100,000 of quota. Quota means fund given to IMF by member countries.

An individual member country’s quota broadly reflects its relative position in the world economy. This can be concluded as developed economies of the west have the most of voting rights in @IMFNews.

USA has highest 16.49% of total votes. France and UK has 4%, Japan has 6.14%, Germany has 5.31 %, Italy 3% and Canada 2.2%.

Overall, @G7 has around 42% of voting rights in IMF.

As Pak has just received $2.3 Billion loan from IMF where India abstained from the voting. @G7 could have stopped this.

The timing of this loan is worse as Pak will be utilising this money in spreading Terrorism against India and in killing innocent Indian Civilians.

At a time when G7 has issued a statement calling both parties for de-escalation, it is interesting to note who is actually helping Pakistan by providing it monetary resources.
