And behind every bold theme is an even bolder team.
So thank you to our co-conveners - Isaac Kwaku Fokuo Jr. of @AfricaAmahoro , Julienne Oyler of @Inkomoko, and Nancy Aburi of @UNHCRAfrica.
None of this would be possible without their leadership.
#AFD2026#TheNextAct
Last year in Nairobi, we went ALL IN.
We talked INclusion, INvestment, INnovation and dismantling every barrier holding back displaced economies from thriving.
Now, for AFD 2026, the curtains are about to go up on THE NEXT ACT.
What will that act be?
We love a bold theme at #AFD.
Five years ago in Kigali, we showed up with 36 MILLION SOLUTIONS for 36 million+ displaced people.
Then we took it to Accra in 2023, where we got serious about EMPOWERING SOLUTIONS for displacement across the continent..

We commemorate this important day in the nation’s history.
