Introducing @tydrohq V2: Borrow Against Bitcoin, Earn BTC Yield - Collect $INK Points
Built on @inkonchain, powered by @aave V3.7, Tydro V2 gives Bitcoin holders new ways to put their capital to work without selling their exposure.
What does Tydro V2 offer?
1⃣ Borrow against your Bitcoin
▫️ Deposit kBTC as collateral and borrow USDC while maintaining exposure to Bitcoin.
▫️ kBTC → Borrow USDC → Repay when ready → Withdraw kBTC
The flagship kBTC/USDC market offers:
• A flat, governance-set borrowing rate
• No automatic repricing based on utilization
• No maturity date
• No scheduled loan rollover
• Up to 85% maximum LTV
kBTC is issued by @krakenfx and backed 1:1 by BTC held at Kraken Financial.
The benefit: access stablecoin liquidity without having to sell your Bitcoin.
2⃣ Earn BTC-denominated yield
▫️ Tydro Earn provides access to curated yield strategies from partner protocols.
▫️ The first live opportunity is Avant Bitcoin Yield, managed by @avantprotocol.
The flow is simple:
Deposit kBTC → Mint avkBTC → Choose Senior or Junior
avkBTC is the base token created from deposited kBTC. It does not earn yield by itself—users must choose one of two yield-bearing tranches:
🔹 savkBTC — Senior: more protected, lower potential yield, daily updates and a 24-hour cooldown
🔸 avkBTCx — Junior: higher risk, higher potential yield, weekly updates and a one-week redemption period
Under the hood, @avantprotocol uses kBTC as collateral, borrows stablecoins through Tydro, deploys them into a liquid market-neutral dollar strategy, and uses the net return to purchase more kBTC for holders.
The yield comes from stablecoin carry converted back into Bitcoin exposure, not from native Bitcoin staking.
3⃣ Collect $INK Points
Both savkBTC and avkBTCx are currently eligible for INK Points.
@inkfndhq has identified @tydrohq as one of three official avenues where points factor into the $INK TGE, alongside @nadoHQ and @krakenpro.
Each platform has a separate allocation pool.
Points can contribute toward future $INK eligibility, but the final conversion rate and allocation criteria remain undisclosed.
What else changed in Tydro V2
• Isolated markets that contain risk within individual markets
• Fixed or variable rate models selected per market
• Custom risk parameters for collateral, LTV, caps and oracles
• Clusters and shared pools for greater capital efficiency
• Qualified-custody support for institutional participants
• Permissioned markets for verified counterparties
• A foundation for future term lending, tokenized assets and additional curated strategies
In short:
Borrow against Bitcoin.
Choose how you earn.
Stay exposed to BTC.

I’ve been a very vocal hater of eth for many years now because the UX sucks.. especially on mobile..
but.. I’ve changing my mind
Kraken Wallet combined with @tydrohq and @inkonchain DeFi takes things a leap forward
15 years of work. One wallet built for active onchain usage. As a user this is exactly what I’d want to see
→ Multi-account type (EOA, Multisig, 7702 smart account), hardware wallet support, @krakenfx co-signed multisig accounts (coming soon)
→ 10x lower trading fees than @baseapp, far below other wallets
→ Transparent quotes + execution
→ Native support for DeFi integrations using xStocks & k-Assets like kBTC (held in bankruptcy remote custody), Ink support with @tydrohq@nadoHQ and early user INK rewards
Onchain team cooked with this
another @inkonchain builder spotlight:
the @otomate_trade team has been building on Ink for the better part of the last 12 months and were one of the first teams to receive a Spark grant in the early stages of our program
their team is constantly engaged and creating tools for traders on Ink
excited to see what they’re cooking for the @Quotrons404 ecosystem
The hard part of a crafting system isn't the items. it's building the thing that lets you add the next 400 without breaking the first 40.
so we built this tool first. Now the time goes where it matters. Making the loops addictive and cohesive.
the goal hasn't changed: build a game that's actually good, and run it on $ink.
see you there 🐸
