Remember when everyone said this DoorDash delivery was staged to promote "no tax on tips"
THAT WAS NOT THE REASON!
Trump bought DoorDash Stock THREE TIMES before this staged event. It was to promote the company to drive up their stock!
Corruption that would make Putin blush!
Thomas Massie: "I vote with Republicans 91% of the time. And the 9% I don't, they're taking up for pedophiles, starting another war, or bankrupting our country."

A lot of Americans remember Sears as a dying store in a half-empty mall.
That’s not what Sears was.
Sears was how American factories entered ordinary houses. Kenmore in the kitchen. Craftsman in the garage. DieHard under the hood. Coldspot humming in the corner. Lawn tractors in sheds. Socket sets in drawers that nobody was allowed to lose.
It was basements, workbenches, catalogs, part numbers, repairmen, delivery trucks, credit accounts, and old men who could hear a washer struggling before it finally quit.
A kid could flip through the Wish Book and learn what adulthood looked like. Tools. Appliances. Work boots. School clothes. A bicycle. Sometimes even a whole house ordered by mail and built piece by piece after the materials came in by rail.
That was the part Sears understood. America was full of people trying to build stable lives with practical things.
Then the practical world got replaced by a disposable one. The catalogs vanished. The stores hollowed out. Manufacturing moved overseas. Repair got expensive. Replacement got cheap. The people who knew how everything worked got older, retired, or died, and a lot of what they knew went with them.
People call it the death of a department store.
I don’t.
Sears was one of the last national systems that still assumed ordinary Americans should know how to maintain the world around them instead of just replacing it. That’s the strange poverty nobody talks about now.
Not having fewer things. Having more than ever and understanding almost none of them.
The 1965 Voting Rights Act was landmark legislation to stop states from diluting the vote of minorities - most notably Black voters in the South who had been systematically disenfranchised.
Last month, the US Supreme Court gutted it.
Today, Michigan became the first state in the country since that ruling to hold a legislative hearing on state level legislation to enshrine those rights. I was proud to cosponsor these bills and vote them out of committee.
After Nixon’s “I am not a crook” tax scandal, the IRS mandated that the president’s tax returns be audited yearly.
Every president since Nixon (except Trump) publicly released theirs.
With the new DOJ settlement ending his audits, Trump is essentially announcing “I am a crook.”
The thing is, we'll literally never know b/c the "settlement" does not include *any* requirement that payouts be made public, Democrats aren't going to court to challenge the deal, and the media will move on by the weekend.
Since Congress only worked 87 days last year, their $174,000 salary is actually $700,000 pro-rata
apparently that's not enough without insider trading but the people are expected to live off of $7,25 an hour?
In Kruger National Park, South Africa, veteran ranger Sipho Nkosi suffered a heart attack while on solo patrol. His vehicle was found empty, and search teams began looking for him.
What the park’s remote trail cameras revealed broke the hearts of everyone who saw the footage.
An old bull elephant — known to rangers as “Mnumzane” (Zulu for “Sir”) — had found Sipho’s body. For three full days and nights, the elephant refused to leave. He stood guard, gently touching the ranger with his trunk, chasing away hyenas and jackals that came too close, and even covering parts of the body with branches and leaves.
On the third night, the elephant was still there — visibly grieving, swaying slowly beside his fallen friend. Only when the full recovery team arrived with vehicles did Mnumzane finally step back, watching solemnly as they carried Sipho away.
Park officials later confirmed that Sipho had rescued this same elephant as a calf years earlier after poachers killed his mother. The elephant had never forgotten.
One colleague who viewed the footage whispered:
“He didn’t come to say goodbye. He came to make sure no one disrespected his brother.”
Mnumzane still visits the exact spot regularly. Rangers now leave fresh water and fruit there in honor of both.

Which party is pro family? 🤔
“WE NEED TO LET THEM DO INSIDER TRADING TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES”
That was the actual argument just made in defense of politicians trading stocks.
Members of Congress make $174,000 a year.
The median American income is roughly $63,000. (3x less)
Meanwhile the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour… also unchanged since 2009.
And you’re seriously being told politicians need access to insider trading to survive.
The system is designed to lead earth to neo-feudalism.
And it’s becoming more brazen by the year.
Asset ownership consolidates upward.
Living standards decline downward.
The middle class gets squeezed from both ends and disappears while the elite class accumulates more wealth, more influence, and more protection.
Leaving behind a permanent underclass.
And a permanent political-financial aristocracy at the top…
@SecDuffy The 2023 NOTAM Improvement Act (signed by Biden) mandated the new FAA NOTAM system and backup you're now taking credit for. It was required by Sept 2024. Maybe skip the road trip next time and actually oversee the acceleration you ordered.
He can put his name on coins, watches, shoes, flags, hats, passports, roads, airports, an arch in DC, and someone else's memorial.
But he can't take his name out of the Epstein Files. No matter how hard he tries.

“MILDLY PCR POSITIVE”—there is no such thing!!! Whoever wrote this HHS tweet just proved they are an idiotic imbecile—trying to minimize a newly discovered positive American hantavirus case aboard a flight to U.S. while trying to bullshit with “mild PCR+” nonsense
I’m sure it doesn’t help that Trump withdrew the U.S. from the WHO on day one.
Then his administration laid off 2,400 CDC workers, including all the civilian staff in the Vessel Sanitation Program, the exact team responsible for inspecting cruise ships and responding to outbreaks.
This country is being run like it was bought out by private equity stripped for parts to be sold off in liquidation.
