Happy #WorldBeeDay! 🐝
There are over 20,000 species of bee in the world. Each varies as much in size & colour as in nesting habits, & most are 'solitary'
Here are two of my favourites 🧵

Today is #WorldBeeDay – the ideal opportunity to celebrate our pretty little #pollinators! 🐝

The connection between our work is our acknowledgement that we humans are the invasive species- our work raises awareness and highlights the fragility of nature.
My linocut tripych - it has been an absolute joy finding out about the depth and breadth of pollinator species and how they are responsible for so much of the food we eat...80% of crops that we eat requires pollination...and... not all pollinators are bees!
I ran a really lovely teacher’s session with Davies Lane Primary Academy (Arbor Academy Trust) exploring creativity, and getting inspiration from different artists and techniques. One of the artists we looked at was Biza Butler. You can see her work here:https://t.co/O99QaFJHdz
