@EM_RESUS You can’t gag, and therefore vomit, while smiling. Our disabled bub was an incredible projectile vomiter. BUT we averted 100s of undesirable chucks by making that kid smile or laugh by tapping his hands/scruffling him up.
Props to the CSI tv show for the heads up 😉
@criprights Sending love to all who loved her.
The indomitable, phenomenal Glee!
What a force of nature she was.
What an incredible legacy she leaves.
What a privilege to have known her.
What a loss, what a loss, what a loss.
xx
@cmdibley@Blu12131 Chat GPT is also great for step by step solutions. I was trying to prime the fuel line of a 1965 tractor the other day & could add pics of engine components to see if that was what it was talking about. (My old dad wasn’t handy at that moment so had to go ‘new school AI’ 😉)
@MarilynMab2 A friend just did top of South America to bottom solo on motorbike. Best thing she had was her Garmin inReach device with subscription to SOS/GPS satellite support if needed & we got sms at start & end of her trip each day to know she was ok.
@an_leavy I was eligible for Paxlovid so think that helped enormously. Managed to keep vulnerable 21yo & hubby negative.
Was only mildly unwell for a couple of days with sinus involvement. Very lucky.
@HealthMusicPerf I obvs got lucky with a very mild bout & fortunate to be able to iso completely with own room/bathroom/outdoor space.
Exiting iso today masked to support disabled son but won’t overdo it, fatigue (more a puffed feeling after minor activity) only lasting symptom at this stage.
@HealthMusicPerf First RAT 48hrs after event & 9 hrs after sinus cong started was neg. 8hrs later +RAT.
Got eScript for Paxlovid, started next AM. Had started wegovy that week. I’m sure both helped. Sinus cong & right shoulder blade ache gone by day 2.5. Moderate headache 1/2 a day.

@lizgreen99 First infection for me too this week 😞. Went out for dinner inside for the first time since start of pandemic and to a grad ceremony. Used Enovid but didn’t mask as fervently as I usually do. Hope you feel ok.
