Final update: Microsoft confirms the 365 outage is resolved and services should be back to normal. Customer impact included email delays (especially to non-Microsoft recipients) and issues scanning to SharePoint.
Advisory: Microsoft has confirmed an issue where a recent Windows update (KB5074109) may prevent some users from connecting to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PCs.

Microsoft has identified an update which was applied around the time that impact started. They're reverting the update to potentially mitigate impact. They've also taken steps to prevent the problematic update from propagating further.
Affected users’ conditional access policies may be denying access requests due to geo-location data being inaccurate.
Microsoft is in the process of reverting a recent change to mitigate impact and once complete that should resolve the issue globally over the next few hours.
