Chances are they want a Switch 2 console. You know they want one, you have the money and time to drive to Target or Best Buy to get them one.

You show up, cash in hand and ready to buy... but the store only received 27 units for that location... and 27 buyers got their order filled.

You don't get a Switch for lil' Timmy now, do you?

So you have to drive to another location searching for a Seller, meanwhile their units are being consumed while you are in transport.

This is how markets book. The Algo delivers price to the level and existing Liquidity is consumed or created... if you don't get yours, price is not going to make allowance for your tardiness or place in line of Traders that get their fills at that specific price.
