So this year I am working with a fourth-grade boy who at the start of his work with me did not know the names and sounds of most letters in the alphabet.
He was non- reader with virtually no sight words.
@LEGOFortnite This was unexpectedly helpful! I had forgotten and I REALLY want to try this ๐ . Just have to get through a bunch of assignments first ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Dear @Starbucks ,
I do enjoy your stores and coffee, but I must admit this โbaconโ sandwich made me sad. Yes, it was still good, but Iโd like to kindly ask for more bacon than this๐ .
I'm using @canva for the first time and on the "dashboard" when you sign in there's a fun little interactive banner for features coming soon. I LOVE these types of playful interactions and I wish we could add them to our pages.๐โค๏ธ
I must say, it's been surprisingly stable! Also, nice to see viewing your keyboard in an Immersive Environment works for connecting to your laptop as well (meaning I can see my MacBook Pro keyboard while viewing my laptop screen as a gigantic monitor)!
Welp, I downloaded the visionOS 2 beta - the first beta operating system I've played with since I put a beta OS on my parents' computer when I was like 13 ๐
So youโre a 5th grade comic book illustrator & author? Of course our librarian can create a book, place it on the shelf and allow students to check it out! Amazing things are happening at @HumbleISD_LSE Thank you @JulieRoederAFL
@LEGOFortnite Not only does it look like amazing fun, but I love the fundamental decisions underpinning the development of this. I want this to succeed so much ๐ญ๐
I donโt particularly relish doing my Bloodborne pathogens training, but doing in #MixedReality with my #quest2 has definitely made it more enjoyable ๐ .
I joined a Citadel experience and had a great time with some random kid :-). I think when we fought the giant spider was when I felt like I had been "transported". Everything just combined nicely to feel like I was having this experience, not just sitting behind a screen.
So, I know it's fashionable to dunk on Meta/Horizon (and of course there are valid critiques there too), but can I just say I...actually had fun with their new games Citadel and Super Rumble? Like real non-ironic fun with some random people and it was awesome! #horizonWorlds
Maybe it's the enhanced functionality that those experiences gain by using TypeScript? I'd say the graphics, but I'm by NO means a graphics snob, so that doesn't usually matter to me. But maybe importing assets meets some minimum threshold I wasn't aware of?
Nice. Learning could be collaborative, courteous, non-competitive. Why not? #EdTech#ConnectedLearning

I know it's not really a big deal now, but simple-minded me is just still REALLY enamored by using something like @playcanvas directly in my iPad browser ๐
