Consistent w/ the 200,000 ha of "old-growth" that were "protected" in Sept & the 1,500 "groves" saved by the special tree regulation, @BCNDP is already also claiming Fairy Creek is "protected."

@shawn73yuk @AncientForestBC It will never, ever have anywhere close to the amount of biodiversity in the understory, the soil, the canopy. Second growth forests will always be ecologically inferior to old-growth...even if they make nice places for deer for a decade or so.
