Dear pals, we are all heartbroken 💔 and in shock, but we’re putting that energy into fundraising for a small cat charity in Sharon’s home town in her memory of @sharon_cantley 🐾😽
They do a wonderful job for cats in need.

(Amanda) I think I may have been giving Barbs the wrong message here.
It looks as though I'm flirting with him but I honestly wasn't. I just needed a flop 'n roll and he happened to be walking past. A flop 'n roll can get a girl into trouble can't it!
(Barbs) I know I've told you this many times and I hope I'm n ot boring you. Seeing Colin and Betty arrive early every morning just makes my day! I suppose because no humans stay at the allotments overnight it makes it more special for us. Do you think that's what it is?
(Barbs) I may be wrong but I think that some humans have a special gift. Betty and Colin's granddaughter has this gift. She has never had a cat of her own but she knows just what we like. She is always kind to us and I could have sat there for hours with her. I'm so lucky
(Barbs) I know most cats love the sun but I prefer the shade. The sun has been very hot recently and some humans have changed colour to red - that's weird isn't it! I remember Robert went a bit gingery in the sun but maybe that only happens to black cats. It's a funny world.
When I first came to the allotments 6 years ago Colin was one of the first humans I noticed. He fed Robert🌈and Dorothy🌈 every day and started to feed me too. I ate outside but soon moved into the veranda. I often think about those days but Colin is 'my' human now and I'm happy
(Janet) I have no news to share with you this morning. My life is very quiet and not very interesting. I wish I had more news to tell you but I don't. I know that Barbs and Amanda have lots to tell you but I'm different. Betty says I'm a good listener and that's important too.
(Amanda) I still keep checking the gap where Mary and Terry used to come into the veranda from. I remember how they chased me and how frightened I was. I suppose I'l forget in time. Barbs is really kind and I know he wants to be friends with me. I'm working on that, wish me luck.
(Barbs) Betty is going to tell you a bit more about the Memorial Garden Open Day on August 4th. She said it will be a 'pinned post', whatever that means. I'm looking forward to it but I might be watching from a distance. Robert would have loved it so much, he wasn't shy at all.
(Barbs) Betty wants me to thank those who have said they will come to the Open Day on August 4th. There is still space for a few more so please send her a DM if you want to come. The Memorial Garden is looking lovely thanks to Pip and Rachel. I love to sit near Robert, I miss him
(Barbs) It's a special day in the UK today because the humans will be choosing a new leader. I don't understand any of this. I know Betty is very interested and she may stay up all night watching the result.
Honestly, the older she gets, the weirder she becomes.
(Amanda) I have a confession to make - I think I'm starting to like Barbs! I've almost stopped feeling that I should smack him when he comes close! It's early days yet but I'm hopeful that in time we will become friends. Betty and Colin would be so happy if we did.
(Barbs) Sad news yesterday. Many of you will know Ken who cared so much for all of us cats... well his wife Vicky went to 🌈. Vicky and Ken rescued many cats and gave them a good home as well as looking after all of us allotment cats
We need more kind humans like them, don't we?
Friends I have some heartbreaking news to share with you all. The beautiful Flynn’s mum @sharon_cantley has terminal cancer. This was very sudden news and is the reason why they haven’t posted for a while. Please join me in sending love , peace and support to them #CatsofTwitter
