Forbes India has named @shashwatgoenka among its next generation of leaders this week. I bought the magazine, like any father would, and there is a copy sitting on my desk.
What the profile cannot tell you is how he got here. He may have inherited a name and a legacy, but he has painstakingly learned the business over the last 15 years, working in FMCG, Ayurveda, and now renewable energy.
We come from a family that quietly builds and lets the work speak for itself. Shashwat has had that same mindset ingrained in him since childhood, just as I did, and as my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather did before me. It is the kind of thinking that creates a generational legacy.
Congratulations, beta. I am proud of you, rooting for you, and praying for your success. I am also proud to see my son-in-law, @iamDevanshJain, on this list.
What he has done is absolutely remarkable.
Despite the detractors and the criticism, he stayed true to his convictions and achieved immense success. You make us proud, Devansh. Keep going. @ForbesIndia
Climate change is no longer a distant reality to anticipate. It is increasingly threatening the natural world, putting millions of animal species and ecosystems under growing pressure and jeopardizing their survival.
Always incredible to see the Navi Mumbai flamingos return year after year!
It is a beautiful and a powerful reminder that industrial growth and urban development can coexist with nature if we actually prioritize sustainability and clean energy.

Running farms on diesel is expensive and terrible for the environment. Getting solar pumps directly to farmers is such a game changer! It cuts their costs instantly and takes massive load off the grid. Real ground level execution.

It aims to scale its renewable energy platform from nearly 3 GW to 10 GW over the next two years, while expanding its solar manufacturing capacity from 6 GW to 11 GW annually, backed by annual investments of ₹25,000 crore.
In an exclusive interaction with Mint, Mr. Devansh Jain, Executive Director, INOXGFL Group, reflected on the Group's growth journey and the expanding renewable energy opportunities in India, while outlining its ambitious roadmap for the future.
Remembering Robin Sharma's "Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end," I've been thinking about how differently we view progress depending on where we stand.
When we're in the middle of something, progress feels slow.
Looking back, it feels inevitable.
Maybe that's why patience is harder than it sounds.

True industrial resilience means taking ownership of our infrastructure from the chemical level upward. By aligning our market scale with homegrown manufacturing capabilities, we aren't just adopting new energy technologies, but we are building the foundation to become a completely self-sustaining hub for them.

When we invest in advanced upstream processing, the economic benefits multiply. It goes far beyond reducing import dependence. It is about cultivating high-value engineering talent, driving local R&D, and building an industrial base that can reliably serve our massive internal demand.
This philosophy of deep self-reliance drives our strategy at INOXGFL. Through GFCL EV, we are scaling a fully integrated battery materials ecosystem in India. By manufacturing critical inputs like electrolytes and fluoropolymers locally, we are strengthening the domestic EV supply chain from the ground up.
The global EV and clean-tech industries rely on highly complex supply networks. To ensure uninterrupted growth for our own markets, we have to move beyond just assembling components. We need to focus on processing and producing the critical intermediate materials right here at home.
