@ThatAndromeda I read an article (https://t.co/Xf0uEK8LdV) that says that as many as 80% of uterus owners have fibroids. Just depends if you have symptoms. (Separate from the fact that almost ALL health issues are more prevalent and more deadly for Black women).

@Hey_AshBee @commaficionado What even IS autism? I’m pretty sure I’m neurotypical. We strongly suspect my daughter is on the spectrum. I’m emotionally sensitive. She feels things as deeply as me but times like 100. I feel we have so little understanding of autism.

@denials I would do this but I’d be explicit in saying that this isn’t my purview, referring to the writing center, the student’s advisor and/or prof with subject matter expertise. This also depends on my workload at the time but keep in mind it takes a lot of courage to ask this.

@bohyunkim I think it’s important to recognize the difference in library users in this: I think in a business or pub library setting, convence is important. In academic, we’re trying to teach something. Sometimes what I want to teach is persistence. (Am I evil?)
