I currently read fiction to satisfy a thirst for knowing about stories set in different parts of the world. Reading books by foreign authors is amazing - you get to have a glimpse into the culture of the places in which the stories are set in. It satisfies a thirst of the unknown
Why do you read and what do you read? I used to read self-help books but it seems everything that it spouts are the same ideals packaged in different ways. I read non-fiction to know more about a certain topic I probably would have never explored before such as
Visited China and itβs such a lovely place. The people are nice, every transaction is cashless because of the prevalence of WeChat and Alipay and itβs super safe. Security might be high but I believe it had helped to create a safer environment. The beauty of China π§΅
@fahdananta Would need to first focus on improving transportation infrastructure. Bullet trains in Japan and China allow people to travel to cities thousands of kilometres away in few hours in comfort. Super easy to explore and great for weekend getaways.
