P2X7 acts like an 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩: if unchecked the response spirals out of control, but modulating it at the right time can prevent further brain damage.
How? Our results show that the antagonist #ITH5004 reduces inflammation safely in preclinical models
