I’m thinking about streaming sometime this week, sorry I’ve been gone for so long, been busy with working, getting ready to move and helping grandparents
To add to this, I talked to my community about what people are saying. I was confused with some people calling me a hypocrite, I do advocate mental health for women and men. I however do not care about chibi. I made the mistake of saying the first thing that came out of my head when seeing his username, but i should’ve been the better person and said nothing. I’ve learn to hold my tongue in most things but I legit got surprised seeing the username and the association with it.
For people who think i’m backpedaling no. I’m sorry for slipping up and not thinking before talking but i’m not sorry for what i said tbh esp that it was towards him. He’s a piece of shit and everything about him is disgusting to me. Not because he got cheated on but because he’s a weirdo in general.
For the original post, I didn’t make the post for people to delete art of me. I did it just as a reminder of my stance which hasn’t change. It annoyed me that people have the time to scroll on my page but not take the time to literally read the OG post and the REPLY NOT AN HOUR AFTER SPECIFYING WHAT I EXACTLY MEANT. So yeah it annoyed me when all the blue badges came crawling in.
My bad to my community for getting into drama again. I know I’m not losing anything valuable when it’s this type of crowd. Pancakes and waffles. Also, I’m not stupid I know me saying my stance on the porn thing isn’t gonna stop people from doing it. the post was for people who CARED about my
stance.
I was too busy in Japan to see what happened in twitter,
what i meant by NSFW since a lot of people are confused- i’m okay with lewd never have not been okay with it. I just don’t like seeing people fuck lol.
To me being a bitch, that’s nothing new and i’ve never been nice to people i don’t care about / respect. yall are so bored that someone that just doesn’t like porn made you personally get riled up. i just genuinely can’t really care. If you don’t want to respect it or even try to see what i meant, i see no reason to be even respectful remotely to some losers. i’d be lying if i said i was sorry.
✌️
Finished Subnautica 2 early access and gave my review, both positives and negatives. i think i went over all the important things. all i want is for this game to be almost if not as memorable as the first https://t.co/JH4aI4Ymjs
Putting as “combat” is disingenuous and either the stupidest conclusion from the feedback or an intentional wording to invalidate their critics. We want things to respond to us. We want the equivalent of a shark swimming away because you sliced it with a knife so you’re…
Again, it's not about killing all the fish (especially because you can murk and consume many already to depleting whole zones of the species for a time).
Nor is it about a run and gun military fantasy. It's about having the option of deterrence be it violent or even lethal. Especially against aggressive foes that block your way.
Subnautica 1 and Below Zero both had the option to kill Leviathans. It's just that the counterbalance was it was that it very difficult to do so. Requiring creativity, patience, and willpower to do so. Meaning it was better to evade or use non-lethal deterrence. Yet the optional challenge was still there.
The same for the non-Leviathan predators that are extremely aggressive (Cryptosuchus, stalker, boneshark, handshake, bruteshark, etc.) Heck, Below Zero had a whole character introduced in the original who showed in Below Zero: Margareut Maida who was dedicated hunter.
The game doesn't treat as evil for hunting leviathans and other creatures to survive or thrive. She's treated as grizzled, cool character who survived against the odds and integrated into the local ecosystem. Something even the player characters aren't given an option of.
( Also, let's not gloss over the fact that many hunters are staunch environmental conservationists. Because there are rules and times of hunting they must abide by for the sake of ecological balance. Also do other efforts such as habitat restoration. They should not be confused with poachers who do not do this. )
Players just want the option that was in prior games. Nor did it run contra to the message or vibe of deep sea exploration and wonder.
I'm saying all this because I am very much enjoying Subnautica 2 and want it to succeed.
The whole point of “early access” is to allow players to give feedback and fix the game. Being hostile over things you don’t like will only cause your players to resent you. It’s very unprofessional and hurts the game in the long run as first impressions matter the most.
Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence.
The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures.
On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied,
“This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.”
This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it.
A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons.
Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.
