This is why we need @Inscripedia

[Jiurn @Jiurn]

I lost ~$100 000 with Inscripedia

Maybe for some of you, this is nothing, but for me, it is a lot

All the money we made, we were paying bunch of devs to improve the website and create protocoles on ordinals

We gave $40 000 to @ordinalsorg when nobody even cared about giving back to Casey, Raph and the others, but we did

The company is based in Canada and we had a lot of taxes to pay, we do not have the resources to have an off shore company snd we do not know all the legal loopholes to make it happen

Inscripedia was my life for almost 2 years. 8 months before anyone had even heard of it and then for another year +

All self funded before Season 0 and when Season 0 happened, 35% went to taxes + 25% went to @ordinalsorg. We only had 40% left as runway.

I didn't even pay myself for the big majority of the company and when I did, it was with the minimum legal salary in Canada

Then, reality hit. Ordinals crashed, nobody cared anymore. People wanted to flip, not collect. Everybody became mad because it wasn't free money anymore, but we still continued and persevered.

To this day, @Geckoking9 and me are working on an improved inscripedia that is closer to the ideal we have in mind.

I don't know when it will get out, but it will.

I have not given up on artists and never will, but this has just shown me that this was not what the public wanted, so I need to create something new.

I am recreating myself after a few months of break, hopefully my community will slowly come back

I have missed you all, life is hard for everyone, please be kind 🫡❤️

[Jiurn @Jiurn]

The thesis didn't change and never will

Books are a great investment and online books will soon become much more valuable. We just have to give it time.

Inscripedia will make its comeback at some point (in a different format most likely)

The books we sold will slowly increase in value once people understand that online assets can be scarce

I can't do much about it, but I am trying every day to bring eyes to our ecosystem

Any help is welcomed, I am not God, I worked hard, I will continue to work hard, but the consensus won't come from me, but I am more than happy to be a pioneer alongside all of you

I never promised a 1000x, the whole ecosystem took a whole hit, don't blame me

I am one of the only people who actually sold something of value and used our funds to provide even more value to the ecosystem

We ran out of funds eventually and had to close down temporarily, but I still want more than anything to help more artists to live from their passion and nothing will stop me from that

Thank you all for the adventure, this is just the beginning, I love you all ❤️‍🩹🤝
