As Adam notes in his story, the six starting pitchers actually decided this was the best option and helped contribute to the planning of the strategy .
@sportsnow41@A_Jude Telling two guys they are alone in the piggyback is much different than the entire rotation. They all should believe this is best for the team. It’s part of team sports, it truly is a difficult situation
@1000basketballs@A_Jude@TyDaneGonzalez You aren’t maximizing any type of value trading a guy early. And nobody is trading elite value for a guy with a blowup start in the last 2 weeks and injury history. That qualifies 4 of the 5.
@sportsnow41@A_Jude Why is the piggyback spread out not sustainable? Statistically it’s worked amazing. Keeps guys on a regular schedule and saves a few innings. People making too big a deal out of this. Not that’s it’s far across the rotation it’s what the team needs.
@ejfitz24@A_Jude This the most reasonable plan they could have chosen. There aren’t 5 clear best options they’ve all individually blown up at least once the last 2 weeks
@buwalda_john@DirtyMoMedia@dennyhamlin You sound soft like charmin dude. Why would any car slower than top 10 just get a handout to be up front? It’s competition. Be better than the other guy and get up there.
