@Gabriel_Wenli@AlbvzMK2 F91 was really intended to be THE new Gundam. The idea was with the Heisei era, 0080 and 0083 were the end of the old era and F91 would be the new era and F91 was really pushed as the Gundam mascot for awhile in multimedia. It’s a shame it didn’t work out.
@Gabriel_Wenli@AlbvzMK2 Mark Simmons had a great breakdown of the timeline on his old site, but that’s the gist. Initially they didn’t know what the project would be, planned for both, really intended for it to be a series throughout 89 for Spring 90 and when it was moving slow it shifted to film.
@abichungus It was weird the way people got strangely passionate against what felt like just a random game. Why was anyone in such a hurry to cheer on lawsuits? It made no sense. I didn’t like the game but it was because I’m tired of crafting games.
29 years ago today, Sting saved DDP (@RealDDP) from the nWo by attaching him to his harness and taking him back up to the rafters. 🦂
An OUTSTANDING WCW Nitro moment!!
Banana dude hopefully will be the end of stupid costumes at shows trying to get attention. Been to Hot Mully shows where it felt like a quarter of the audience was Mario and Luigi’s
@TheVallyD The only thing anyone under 45-50 knows he man for is the “fabulous secret powers” video.
I’m almost 40 and He Man has basically just been the butt of gay jokes my entire life first in like Wizard and ToyFair and then online. It’s why the 00s series failed. Theres no nostalgia.
Some asshole wore a banana costume to an End It show in Toronto. The lead singer called the guy up to the stage & then called him an asshole & told everyone to rip his costume off lmao. It took like 30 seconds.
"You wanted the attention & now you have it" 😂
@KaiserBeamz I mainly remember He Man being mostly used for homophobic jokes growing up on message boards and in magazines so when the new cartoon came out on, like no one cared.
