#RanbirKapoor attracted trolling for himself and #Ramayana on the day of Dussehra while he was promoting the epic in #Kolkata.

During the Dussehra celebration, Ranbir Kapoor got his turn to give a speech, during which he said, "Burai chahe kitni bhi taqatwar ho, aakhir mein ant achai or sachai ki hoti hai."

By accidentally and hilariously twisting the message of Ramayana, he became the subject of a lot of memes.

The latest version of Shiv Tandav Stotram from Namit Malhotra's #Ramayana, titled #RavanaTandav ft. #Yash, has been released. While mixed opinions surround the song, the video shows the potential of this sequence to be one of the best scenes of Ramayana!

This sequence features Yash performing the Tandav, with all his energy and rage needed, in front of a large statue of Lord Shiva and fire surrounding him, while Vishal Dadlani's vocals back him. With all these elements, Ravana Tandav would be memorable to watch on the big screen.

Good news for everyone in West Bengal waiting to watch #Ramayana - the #RanbirKapoor and Yash-led epic has been declared tax-free in the state by CM #SuvenduAdhikari!

This confirmation was made after the team of Ramayana, including Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Namit Malhotra, visited Kolkata to attend a grand Dussehra celebration at Central Park, Salt Lake.

While declaring it tax-free, West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari said, "The Ramayana film has been made tax-free. The Kerala Story, The Kashmir Files, and The Bengal Files - all of these have been made tax-free, and the same will apply to Ramayana. In the days to come, we will see films on Shri Krishna and Arjuna, as well as the Mahabharata."

After West Bengal, more state governments are expected to declare Ramayana tax-free very soon.

The internet is full of praises and criticism for #Yash and #RanbirKapoor's #Ramayana, both of which majorly involve its VFX, CGI, and cinematography. Yash answered the criticism aspect of it at the recent Ramayana promotional event in Hyderabad by requesting people to not find small faults in the film's VFX.

Yash said, "Sometimes when someone tries to do things like this… Namit has gambled his reputation and money to put this film on a global platform. Please don’t try to find small faults in the VFX. It will never happen again if we lose people like him now. It will take more years. We will go back in time. Let’s see the film with an open mind. He has always taken every piece of feedback and criticism and tried to do it better. I request you from my side. If you like the film, let’s come together and show the world."

The highly anticipated #Ramayana is being distributed in the two Telugu states by Dil Raju. At the recent promotional event for the film held in Hyderabad, the distributor made a hilarious mistake by mistaking #RanbirKapoor for #RanveerSingh.

At the event, Dil Raju said, “One of the best actors we have today is Ranveer Singh garu. Sorry, Ranbir Kapoor garu!”

Immediately after this, he laughed along with the whole audience and apologized for this small mistake.

The reports of #VijaySethupathi coming on board for a fantastic cameo in #Jailer2 were leaked much before the Rajinikanth starrer was released. Later, Vijay Sethupathi himself confirmed this cameo by saying that he signed Jailer 2 only for #Rajinikanth sir.

During an interview, Vijay Sethupathi said, "I have completely stopped doing cameos. The exception is Jailer 2 only, which I did for Rajinikanth sir. If they put my poster on Jailer 2, the audience will notice only Rajini sir. But in other small films, they are marketing with my cameo in the poster; it affects my films, which I'm doing as a hero."

#Rajinikanth's latest anticipated entertainer Jailer 2 has grossed Rs 417.78 crore at the worldwide box office in its 4-day opening weekend. While riding on highly positive reviews, it has beaten the opening weekend gross of Rajinikanth's previous movie Coolie, which was Rs 381.05 crore, as per IBO Tracking.

Jailer 2 has beaten Coolie only in the Karnataka and Kerala markets. Meanwhile, Coolie remains on top of Jailer at Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. On the overall India, overseas, and worldwide front, Jailer 2 reigns supreme.

Coolie's lifetime worldwide gross showed a box office collection of Rs 505.83 crore. Looking at Jailer 2's trend, this latest Tamil entertainer is expected to beat Coolie very soon in the first week of its run.
