James Earl Jones earned his status as an entertainment legend. His gravitas on both the screen and the stage was second to none, but what separated him from the pack was his sincere soul while out of the spotlight. He will be sorely missed for a variety of admirable reasons.

I’m not going to pretend to mourn the loss of the Racing Academy, but I will always remember sitting on the front row with my CARS-obsessed three year old and seeing the mesmerized look on his face whenever Lightning McQueen was first unveiled. That’s what Disney is all about.

Last week, my family vacationed to the most magical place on Earth, Walt Disney World! Here are some of my thoughts on the new things we experienced as well as some general highlights from our trip…

All in all, it was a dream come true to take my family to WDW for the first time. It’s true what they say: my two boys may not remember it, but I certainly will for the rest of my life. Watching them experience the magic for themselves was the best part of our incredible week.
