Schumacher is a tremendous talent. He is a driver that I rate as a talent as highly as Russell, Leclerc etc.

When he eventually gets the machinery that his ability deserves, he will show many doubters wrong. #F1

However, a decision from Alpine regarding their lineup will likely not be made until later on in the year as they wish to fully evaluate their options.

Another factor is to seek clarity of Esteban Ocon’s future with the team, as rumours grow of a possible move to @MercedesAMGF1

UPDATE: The likelihood of a possible @AlpineF1Team move for @PierreGASLY is now becoming increasingly unlikely.

Alpine have been impressed by @OconEsteban’s form so far this season and as things stand, Alpine would be willing him to offer a contract for 2022 onwards.

RUMOUR: @PierreGASLY has had conversation with @AlpineF1Team management regarding a possible transfer to the team for the 2022 F1 season.

Due to current contractual situations however, the move seems unlikely at this moment in time. (1/2) #F1 #Alpine

#Alpine management would also prefer to look within their own junior academy should a seat become available. Alpine have faith that the drivers currently in their junior team are good enough to make the step up.
