You hit the nail on the head... Baseball was losing its fanbase and they made drastic changes that purists were against... they implemented the pitch clock to speed up the action, in-game interviews and the ball-strike (ABS) system are a few of them. The horse racing industry as whole (Management/Trainers/Drivers) have to think out of the box and not keep doing the same thing over and over year after year.

I am interested in seeing Harness racing survive or even better thrive as it is my passion... it has to become more exciting as a 'fan' I have taken many newbies over the years to the track and very few have every wanted to go back... a few different reasons but main one is it is boring.
