We all are waiting for the start of Ohio high school football, but there is something else big happening August 20th with one of Ohio’s best football players, Michael Boyle, who will compete in the U20 world championship starting on the same day as kickoff.

Future Buckeye wrestler @michael_boyle3 is a three-time state champion in wrestling, hoping to add some international hardware this upcoming weekend on the mat, but that’s not all the Bishop Watterson incoming senior contributes to the Eagles athletics. On a defense returning 10 starters from a team who just won their second straight state title, 30 consecutive game, and, in that stretch, only allowed an average of 6.7 PPG and 9 shutouts, Boyle is one of the, if not the, biggest impacts on Friday nights for Bishop Watterson. Earning MVP in the state finals, as well as first-team All-Ohio, his football career is nothing short of phenomenal.

After his time competing in Slovakia, he looks to assist the Eagles in a new division, but with the same end goal, to hoist the trophy in Canton.
