President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has scored 91.5 per cent of the total number of registered APC members in Yobe State in today's Presidential primary election.

President Tinubu was declared winner of the election having scored 253,804 votes to beat Osifo Stanley who scored zero vote.

Former Yobe State Secretary to the State Government, Baba Malam Wali, mni, has emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship flagbearer for the 2027 General Elections in Yobe State.

Announcing the final results, the State Coalition Officer disclosed that a total of 254,013 votes were cast during the exercise.

Baba Malam Wali — 236,711 votes
Abubakar B. Kagu — 9,748 votes
Bashir S. Machina — 1,894 votes
Hamidu A. Mohd — 1,722 votes
Modu Ma’aji — 1,371 votes
Yunusa Mustapha — 1,176 votes
Inusa Mohammed — 1,148 votes

With the landslide victory, Baba Malam Wali will represent the APC in the 2027 Yobe State governorship election.
