Our oldest is 2 1/2 years old, and has herself a boyfriend already...
Our neighbours' son is 4 and sings her love songs, she goes to wakes up asking for him, and it doesn't stop until she falls asleep at bedtime, even if they just spent time together.
Send help.
Me: gets dressed into clean clothes for first outing in almost a week
Toddler: throws PB&J sandwich at me when she decides she's done with it.
Why yes, my outfit wouldn't be complete without food on it .
In the midst of unpacking at our new home, I look over to the baby's exersaucer, and ask "where is she?"
I immediately remembered I was holding her... I was physically carrying her in my arms and asked where she was.
Might just be a bit tired...
2 year old: "I wipe my poop on daddy's shirt"
Me: *starts laughing because I think she's joking*
But, she did, indeed, wipe her poop on daddy's shirt. (Thus making me laugh even harder)
@walbabymama We're planning on making the most of the trip! We want to make it a memorable experience. We're going to make lots of stops, see the local landscapes and do a little bit of shopping as we need things. We're packing super lightly , hotels can do laundry service, so that's the plan
Life has never been this crazy, busy, or exciting.
Been on a hiatus from Twitter for a bit, but here I am.
We're moving across the country at the end of this month, and driving out with our two kids and a dog. Pray for us. ๐
I absolutely hate that whenever I finally get some downtime, I have SO many things I want/need to do, but I always seem to turn to fattening foods and Netflix...
I need to be more productive... How do other parents get themselves off their asses!?
@Mmommyx2 We just moved into the upper level of a split level duplex, and we can hear our downstairs neighbors quite well, so I can only imagine how much they can hear of my screaming toddler, and crying baby. Lol.
It's our oldest daughter's second birthday today.
So far, she has refused to listen, been aggressive, defiant, and peed on my yarn...
What a great start to 2.
@beetsonbikes I was certainly not impressed, but it's pretty funny when I think about it. ๐
She ended up having a great day once the morning passed, it's like she went from defiant wild child, to a sweet, fairly obedient kiddo. So proud.
Anxiety level: 110
I awkwardly gave them a side glance like... Please do not stand so close.
Now all I can think about is the song
"DON'T STAND SO CLOSE TO ME"
Standing in an empty Tim Hortons this evening, waiting to order, and these two ladies walk in and decide that they will stand directly beside me, like close enough that I could graze their arm if I move.
I go to the cash, and they follow me to stand the same distance!
