I just coded up the ability to dynamically include polls in @InsiderEmail newsletters.

Prior to this, I had to:
1️⃣ Snapshot a pic of the poll
2️⃣ Upload the image to my website
3️⃣ Code it into the newsletter

It was a real pain.

One of these days I may actually launch Insider​.email for others to use too.

On June 30, 2023, Twitter put all content behind a login screen.

Now everyone has to sign-in to just read tweets, essentially creating a "walled garden" even though Twitter is supposed to be a "town square".

We're going to monitor the situation for the next few days.

Designed a Chromium extension for @InsiderEmail this morning.

It allows you to save favorite tweets (from you or anyone) so assembling your next email newsletter is even easier!

Welp, the @InsiderEmail launch *was* coming along nicely until Twitter decided to blow away my API application yesterday without notice.

Now I'm not sure if it was an error and will be restored, or if I'll have to sign up for the $100/mo access to read-only tweets.

Will wait & see.

Sometimes Twitter is slow with their API response, so I added a background "loading" modal to show the user we're working on it.
