No one really needs hugely wrapped gifts, specifically in our big fat Indian weddings. Most of them are re-gifted or just never been used (like flower bouquets). What's more appreciated is our presence and heartfelt blessings.

When I hear 'you are just a girl, how will you survive on your own in the outer world', I think of all the Moms around me, doing the job starting from young age with so much commitment without anyone barely noticing their hard work. I feel my job will be much easier than theirs.
Our qualification and reputation do not define our standard of thinking, mannerisms and heart. People never fail to prove it time to time.
