@JamesTitcombe Thinking of you and so sorry that you and your family experienced this. James I thank you for all the work you have done and continue to do. I hope you can take a moment for YOU.
@JamesTitcombe I hope that support is given to her to deal with the emotional and psychological impact and far reaching consequences that ensues. Very sad.
To fight for your life, your rights often whilst still going through operations is a shame,a form of re/abuse,neglect, a nightmare an experience that leaves you and family emotionally and physical traumatized and changed forever. Change is needed now. Medicalharm/emotionalimpact
@PeterWalshAvMA@JamesTitcombe It really is a shame especially when those impacted are not just statistics but people whose life will be forever changed as a result of this 'inadequate care'.
Really pleased that 300 people have signed up for this Webinar on 17th September already. A really important topic & some excellent speakers including @Mothers_Inst_UK@SaschaWells@JWailling @murrayawallace @Jeremy_Hunt & Bill Kirkup. Spaces still available.
Never complain to PALS at an NHS trust. Go straight to CEO's office with formal written complaints asking to be treated as such. #ShaunsRandomTweetOfTheDay
@cazbinny Oh you do poetry as well. Poetry often comes from a deep place but becomes so meaningful and often helps with inner healing. When I read my own poetry out loud I cannot believe I wrote it. But as I always say Deep is where the treasures lie.
We’re looking forward to a project planning meeting today with @AvMAuk & the fantastic advisory group who are supporting this work. There’s an urgent need to improve the care of those affected in the aftermath of healthcare harm. #harmedpatientpathway

Agreed. It must be normalised as a human right. As medication is given for physical/emotional ailments so must therapy be 'prescribed' for all who require it. A good therapist can really help YOU. No shame no stigma just the freedom to 'live' again.
Therapy for all. Easier access to therapy for everyone. We must see therapy as something normal and shameless. Doctors, dentists, therapists. Normalise therapy as a human right. In a judgey age where we are encouraged to dismiss people a good therapist is for the full human.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become @AvMAuk 's associate editor of the Journal of Patient Safety & Risk Management. See https://t.co/frwge1s8Ds Thank you for doing this so well over the last couple of years @JamesTitcombe !
